Following these simple rules will protect your investment for many years to come.
.1.Keep print out of bright or direct sunlight. The print ink is UV treated,
but over a long period of time direct sunlight will fade any surface, even treated
ones.
2.Keep away from damp walls or bathrooms (Unless optional laminate is used)
3.If surface becomes dusty - use a dry soft lens cloth or fine feather duster.
4.Never fold or crease. This could crack the print surface.
5.Keep away from direct heat source - if a lamp is used, (as a guide) a 40 watt
bulb should be no closer than 12 inches.
6.If the surface becomes stained, use a soft cloth, moistened with a little
warm water. This method will remove most stains, but should only be used as
a last resort. Don't use any kind of solvent, as this will remove the ink as
well as the stain and permanently damage the print.
We do not use glue when mounting prints onto board. The print is carefully fitted to allow a slight amount of free moving within the card and board, about 3mm around the edge. This allows the print to be removed with care without damaging the board or print. The reason we do this, is to prevent damage if it becomes necessary to separated the print from the board at some future date, this might be for shipping in a tube or long term storage in an archive.
